// Valued Experience
becoming a better designer
Having been a part of the Hurley family my design insight for apparel, footwear and the fashion industry, in general, has skyrocketed. Designed & developed garments from self drawn concepts including designed graphic prints and patterns that applied to shoes and apparel while working closely with my colleague designers for sales samples and providing analysis on current and future fashion trends were all in a days work.
The time I spent at Shwood and the amount of knowledge I gained was unparalleled. Working in a team environment while leading a finish development team, that is now used in production, helped me to be a better, patient and understanding team mate in real world situations.
Harley-Davidson Motor Company
My experience working with engineers and spending time on the production floor assembling different parts of the motorcycles was crucial in making me the designer I am today. Understanding what goes into creating a successful product from design to engineering, fabrication to assembly, to the end result, a happy user.
